DMCA Policy

Rennes Toulouse Haise ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting the intellectual property rights of others. We adhere to the provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. § 512, and strive to respond promptly to notices of alleged copyright infringement.

This policy outlines the procedures for copyright owners to notify us of alleged infringement and for users to submit counter-notifications when they believe their content was removed in error.

Filing a DMCA Notice of Infringement

If you are a copyright owner or an agent thereof and believe that any content hosted on our services infringes upon your copyrights, you may submit a written DMCA notice to us. Your notice must include substantially the following:

  1. Identification of the Copyrighted Work: A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
  2. Identification of the Infringing Material: A description of the material that you claim is infringing and where it is located on our services, with sufficient detail to allow us to find and identify the material. Providing URLs is the best way to help us locate content quickly.
  3. Your Contact Information: Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. Statement of Good Faith Belief: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. Statement of Accuracy and Perjury: A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  6. Electronic or Physical Signature: Your electronic or physical signature (typing your full legal name is sufficient for an electronic signature).

Please note that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability for damages.

Filing a DMCA Counter-Notification

If you believe that material you posted on our services was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with us. Your counter-notification must include substantially the following:

  • Identification of the Removed Material: Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location (e.g., URL) at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
  • Your Contact Information: Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • Statement of Good Faith Belief: A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
  • Consent to Jurisdiction: A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which Rennes Toulouse Haise may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person.
  • Electronic or Physical Signature: Your electronic or physical signature (typing your full legal name is sufficient for an electronic signature).

Please note that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification may be subject to liability for damages.
